Meet The Owner

Lori Neddeau, owner of VIP Pet and House Sitting has lived in North Stonington for over twenty years. After graduating college, she worked as a dental hygienist while raising her daughter, Alison.

Throughout her life, Lori has always had a passion and strong bond with animals. From her first pet, a kissing fish named Bubbles, to numerous cats, dogs, rabbits and even her sister’s pet bird, Lori continued to foster her love for animals.

Unfortunately, her career as a dental hygienist ended abruptly after being involved in two accidents and many back surgeries. While recovering, numerous friends and family members sought her out to take care of their pets while they were at work or on vacation.

Lori has spent the last several years learning everything she could about animal care. She is a member of Pet Sitters International and also has taken classes from the American Red Cross in pet safety and CPR. She believes through ongoing education and life long learning, her business will continue to stay up-tp-date on the latest pet care and pet health.

Lori is a member of the Westerly based Stand Up For Animals and volunteers in the local shelter.

“Until one has loved an animal, a part of your soul remains unawakened.”
